Ahhhhh chewwww!Did you guess correctly? YES you did, cos' ur dear lil' birdie(make myself sound so cute right) is down with flu, cough and a teeny weeny bit of fever so teeny that i only have flu and cough={ I woke up feeling rather excited for a brand new week ahead of me, knowing that i had to once again resume my lecture-tutorial days after havin' e-leaarning last week. Yah excited i was, but i literally pulled my weak and sickly body outta that comfy bed....do you know that one of the hardest struggles each day for me is to get outta bed??? Heh heh bet this switched on some of ur bulbs, like reali? she looks like she can! nah that's DA CUO TE CUO!
It's 52 minutes past 10 now and for the very first time this year i'm gonna have a LONG and very good night's rest after this entry...lookin' at NECky(my lappy's name) too long would drive me nuts, in addition to the drowsy effect the YUCKY YUCKY medicine has given me.
Being a Guai(1st sound ah, not 4th) student of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, i removed the authority of today's MC and went ahead to school straight after seeing Mr Tan Cheng Bok, my friendly neighbourhood doctor. Haha felt kinda noble at first, only realising that all the effort taken to go to school was purposed for a "seminar" called ArrowsForSoul(s) by Mr David Lock. Well, it was interesting i would say, but not very business-related...it was those kinda motivational talks which cannot exactly hold a candle to CHC's weekly word lah...
Something I learnt: We, as Gen-Ys, have to change our perspective and attitude towards many things in life, like kiasuism, being impatient, desiring entertainment and so on...instead of being the CHICKENS which peck on the ground all day having no greater aim or slight awareness of any presence of neighbouring worms, we have to desire to be EAGLES---they soar so high up in the sky and are never oblivious to their surroundings or what's below them. Once they see opportunity(a rabbit for eg.), a little tweeeek in their feathers would land them where they are, to obtain the rabbit for lunch! Haha so from this day on, i seek even more to become an eagle, join me in my eagle-listic club yea? Chickenising all day can kill...hmmm that's where multitasking comes in. It can be inevitable sometimes, but still, FOCUSing does wonders!
