SO happie that my handphone's once again back to life. I've been handicapped for 2 days and i felt rather lonely having a phone and yet wasn't able to use it. Hmmm this is kinda weird but when i went to the starhub shop today, the guy told me that my sim card's rejected. He said maybe it's due to not keying in the correct pin no. or that i changed the settings of my fone. But i didn't even have any pin no. all along, not even changing the no. cos' it just happened all of a sudden that my fone rejected it! This is really very mysterious, will never be able to find out why. Worst thing was, everything in my previous sim card was wiped out....urgh, so aggravating!HUMP!
Well, guess all of us just face problems each day, sometimes reallie weird ones. Not gonna dwell on it, guess moving on would be a better idea.
I was once again awoken by someone today. Haha and it wasn't my grandpa this time. Bro tan instead! ANd it was already 2pm!...Did the songsheets and called some ppl, b4 i went to meet Elmo at Orchard once again! Haha, seems like i've been goin' to orchard a lot these few days. Hmmm we were discussing and rattling our brains over a certain topic today, and Elmo really shocked me with that certain fact that she shared with me. Well, due to some reasons, i'm unable to blog that out. Just that i was left flabbergasted.
Anyway, it was a rushy rushy day. Elmo and i only had 2 hrs at orchard and we started walking from taka to pacific plaza and then all the way to PS at dhoby ghaut. That walk to dhoby ghaut surprisingly took us 1/2 an hour and got us so tired and lack of breath. I immediately went to Starhub, where I got my sim card replaced. Then after a bit of shopping, we realised we were getting late for prayer mtg at Lu's place. We reached clementi at 7pm and had to photostat the songsheet and prayer list, but to our dismay the shop wasn't opened today!!! Ah wad a trial!
The uncle said, "there's a shop opp. BLK 328!"
Oh cool, so the 3 of us briskwalked and crossed the bridge to blk 328 and got a revelation that the shop was located opp. the bridge, which was actually so near where we actually were!
"Oh no! We're left with 10mins!"
Found the shop! Yes!!!
Haha then with our quick-witted method, we got a cab but the taxi driver was so old and slow! Was thinking in my mind, "Uncle, ke yi jia quai yi dian ma?"
But he was so cute, scolding and cursing at the other drivers who blocked his way! Not that cursing is good, but u gotta hear the way he did it, so cute! Haha, he made me and Elmo laugh so much =P We just didn't have the heart to tell him to speed up.
When we reached Lu's place, guess wad? Bro tan hasn't reach..........................
Thought of the day:
Why would some people choose to live behind a facade of entirely falseness and build their lives on things that seem so blatantly wrong and aren't true even to a small extent? What's the point in flaunting your "riches" if u ain't rich in the first place. And even if u are, there isn't a need to flaunt whatever riches you have cos' it's essentially what kinda person u are and not what you have that matters. Hmmm i dunno lah, wouldn't be able to comprehend what some ppl are thinking or wanting to achieve from all the fake details given, only God truly knows what's going on. If you're a person who might be living such a life, i do hope you'd sit down for a while and really give it some thought. You should ask yourself if that will earn you more respect or a higher status among ppl u're with. The consequence of getting exposed certainly ain't beneficial to yourself. May God bless U...
